Abstract
This paper reports the impact of dance on 38 students currently enrolled in the special tertiary education program of Cebu Normal University. Students underwent a one-hour-and-one-half expressive dance activity to the accompaniment of music. The assessment tools used were autobiography; interview and observation; and post-activity questionnaire. Catharsis, enhanced personal awareness, self-confidence and improvd interpersonal relationships described the over-all positive impact of the activity. Thus, the dance activity did not only educate, but it healed them as well.
